Daytona Beach, FL… No more watching the tach or wondering if your engine is performing up to par. Get all the information you need for more precise RPM shifts with the Daytona Sensors Programmable SL-1 Shift Light and Vehicle Data Logger. This duo has programmable alarm functions for RPM shifts or AFR monitoring plus built-in data logging, making it perfect as a basic vehicle data logger that is ideal for track days, motorsport or road use.

Simply arm the system and the last five minutes of engine data will be logged at 10 samples per second. With launch and multi-stage shift light capability, a launch RPM with up to five shift RPM levels can be defined to support six gear transmissions. Vehicle speed based gear detection allows use in applications other than drag racing with correct gear sensing after downshifts. Gear detection is based on vehicle speed or RPM drop during your shift. Launch detection is based on vehicle speed or a signal from a line lock solenoid. There are two independent programmable alarm functions for analog inputs and the data logged includes throttle position, RPM, vehicle speed, status of all inputs and outputs, and two 0-5 volt analog inputs.

The LED display features ultra bright lights that can be panel mounted or attached to a tach. The display features full spectrum color capability with user selected colors for each function and automatic dimming in low light conditions. The flexible RPM input is compatible with high voltage coil drive, standard 12 volt tach signal, or low level logic drive.

The data logger is compact in size with heavy duty industrial grade clamping terminal blocks for easy, reliable hookup without soldering or crimping. The system includes USB interface to laptop PC, and Windows software for programming the controller and downloading logged data.

The PC Link Shift software can be used to establish controller scale factors, general setup parameters, multi-stage shift and launch light parameters, as well as alarm parameters and can be programmed for nitrous activation or high gear ignition retard. It features two independent programmable alarm functions allowing you to monitor AFR values from wide-band system or boost pressure. You can also program the vehicle speed alarm, or a green light function for your pit row speed limit.

Shift Log software features real time display mode and chart display of data downloaded from the module. The real time display of system and engine data on an instrument panel layout with round tach, speedometer and bar graph gauges is used for initial system setup and dyno test monitoring. The chart display allows you to monitor vehicle operation on the track and you can download and upload to the module, open and save files to disk, and print setup values.

The software for both includes a comprehensive on-line help system and requires a laptop PC with minimum 300 MHz Pentium processor and super VGA display (SVGA with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution) running Windows 98/ME/XP/Vista. The PC must have a CDROM drive for program loading and a free USB port.

Daytona Beach, FL… Whether you are tuning a hot street engine or your daily driver, determining if your engine needs more or less fuel can be a difficult task. Daytona Sensors, premier manufacturer of tuning aids and diagnostic tools is pleased to announce the WEGO4D-SYS Dual Channel Wide Band AFR Tuning Aid. The air /fuel ratio metering system accurately delivers air-fuel ratio readings for all your high performance tuning applications, resulting in more efficient engine operation.

The WEGO4D-SYS is a complete air/fuel ratio metering system with built-in data logging that includes the Dual Channel Wide-Band Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Interface, two Bosch LSU4.2 5-wire wide-band oxygen sensors, two 18×1.5mm weld nuts for mounting the sensors on the exhaust pipe, and CDROM software. This compact and easy to install tuning aid works for all carbureted and fuel injected engines. It displays AFR (air/fuel ratio) and logs over 2 hours of data including AFR, engine RPM and has a spare 0-5V analog input for sensors such as throttle position, manifold pressure or for interface to dyno instrumentation.

Suitable for automotive, motorcycle and other small engine applications, the WEGO4D-SYS can be used for on-road or dyno testing. Housed in attractive black anodized aluminum, it features an ultra bright LED display with backlight, providing great readability in bright sunlight and automatic dimming under low light conditions. It has a wide supply voltage range from 11-16V and allows operation from small engines and race vehicle batteries without an alternator. Easy free-air calibration procedure corrects for sensor aging effects. An industrial grade clamping terminal block on the rear panel allows easy and reliable hookup without soldering or crimping.
