AMP Research is pleased to announce the availability of its popular Power Step for the four-door 2007-Current Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. In response to demand from Jeep owners, AMP Research has designed an all-new Power Step for the popular four-door Jeep Wrangler. Now with four doors, the new Wrangler is significantly larger than its predecessor with a 2-inch longer wheelbase, and a 3.4 inch wider track, however climbing in and out is still a challenge. But not any longer! AMP engineers studied the problem and designed an all new mechanism that optimizes both drop and extension to provide the optimum step position for the JK, so that everyone entering and exiting all four doors can do so with ease. As the smarter, safer alternative to struggling to get into your Jeep, only the AMP Research Power Step provides easy entry with the opening of any door. Shut the doors, and the full-length running board automatically tucks up snug to the lower rocker panel giving the appearance of a tubular nerf bar when retracted. Its weather-tight motor and drive system does all the work in one smooth operation. Safety features include a 600 lb. weight rating per side, and anti-pinch technology that prevents the step from moving if resistance is encountered while in motion. Read more
