MAHLE Motorsport Introduces PowerPak Piston Assemblies for 4.750″ Stroke Big Block Chevrolets

Fletcher, NC  (March 24, 2009)… MAHLE Motorsport now offers PowerPak piston assemblies for big block Chevys with 4.750” stroke applications.  MAHLE’s 4.750” stroke pistons are offered in 4.50 and 4.60 bore sizes, producing 10.4 and 10.8 compression ratios respectively.  Designed to add as much as 8 to 22 horsepower, these big block piston assemblies are lightweight yet built for strength.  Each PowerPak includes forged pistons, round wire locks, high quality .990 steel wrist pins and 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 mm low-drag racing rings.

Precision CNC finish machined pin bores for reduced piston to pin clearance, phosphate dry film lubricant and MAHLE’s Grafal® anti-friction coatings ensure consistent, durable performance.  High quality steel pins, radiused valve pockets and forced pin oiling come standard with the PowerPak.
